你的英语口语为什么总是不好?

　　有人以为自己的英语口语“要好”，就得需要“经常说”才行。“经常说”是保持、增强自己英语口语的一个途径。可是，人总是这样，往往你较想要的东西偏偏得不到，两座山头理论上的较短距离不过是一条直线，英语口语也一样：你经常“没机会没条件说”。

　　不能“经常说”来保持、增强自己的英语口语，“经常读”可以吗。

　　其实，一个人的英语口语究竟好不好，不需要你用开口说来印证，你“读一读”答案就知晓了：读也是衡量和看出一个人英语口语到底好不好的“标准”。

　　不信，我们取随意一篇英语文章让你“读一读”测试测试：

　　1. "Parents can help their children, but should be clear on what the children should expect," said Matt Brady, senior director of wealth planning at Wells Fargo Private Bank. "It may be appropriate to put some boundaries in place, such as the length of time the child can stay in the home, when they're expected to find a job, whether the child will need to contribute financially to the running of the household and even the level of household chores they're expected to do, since parents may not want to re-create the pre-college pattern of doing almost everything for their child."

　　这是一篇有难度的文字。你试读一下，要求：

　　1. 不许“回读”，也就是一句话一个单词，你要“反复读几次”才把句子或单词“读顺”来，要求你的“默读”一次过，而且，“一次过”就能读懂句子或单词“讲什么”。

　　2. 你的“默读”需要是带有“语音语调”的，就跟你开口说话一样。

　　3. 不允许翻译成中文来“读”。

　　4. 你阅读/默读过程中，是否可以清晰地“听到”自己大脑里的“读书声”?

　　你能做到吗?估计很多人做不到英语流畅阅读：英语发音，带语音语调，一次过读懂，不回读，不借助中文作为“理解语言”直接用英语“读懂”。

　　其实，自己的英语口语好不好，怎么增强，“经常说”不是“诉求”：我们不要给自己太多理想化到达不到的要求和条件，就好比两座山头的较短距离是直线，但是，实际上你要爬过那个山头，你可能走三天三夜也到不了，除非真有在两个山头之间搭建了一条桥：吃苦和付出艰辛才是现实。

　　“经常读”才是我们随时随地可以借助的“条件”。等到哪整天，你发现你的英语阅读/默读已经达到了上面几条要求，你开口流畅说英语，不过就是开口的事，而且，就算不“经常开口说”英语，你的英语口语照样“萌哒哒”。
